Realizing that some 4WD owners need a much more powerful damper, we now stock the TOUGH DOG Extra-Heavy-Duty Return-To-Centre type for some applications. These huge dampers, which have a 35mm-bore and an outer case encircled by a beefy (11-mm wire diameter) coil spring, are designed to help control up to 44 inch tyres on 4WD wagons and trucks.
The XHD dampers are available to suit most Landcruisers, Nissan Patrols with coil suspension, and late-model 4WD Ford F250 trucks. With some modifications, some of these damper kits can used for other applications.
