As the ATV market was emerging, WARN introduced the industry's first ATV winch and was issued at patent in 1988. Warn Industries joined Dover Corporation in October 2003.

Within the U.S., Warn Industries operates over 400,000 square feet in two Oregon manufacturing facilities and a technical facility in Livonia, Michigan. WARN holds ISO 9001 certifications and several teams hold ISO/TS16949 certificates for Quality Management; along with an ISO 14001 certificate for Environmental Management.
