XHD Return to Centre Steering Damper

What does it do?

Specifically designed for 4WDs with over-size tyres and/or 'agricultural' steering, or for drivers who want a better driving experience.

The RTC damper features a coil spring which helps to centralise the steering.

How does the XHD vary from a standard return to centre damper?

Realising that some F250 owners need a much more powerful damper, the Extra-Heavy-Duty Return-To-Centre has a 35mm-bore and an outer case encircled by a beefy (11-mm wire diameter) coil spring, and is designed to help control up to 44 inch tyres. The damper weights almost 9kg!

Do I need anything else to install this product?

No. The damper is supplied ready to bolt on. The eye mount of the damper goes to the factory location on the drivers side. At the other end of the damper is a ubolt and L shaped bracket kit which is mounted around the drag link. Full installation instructions are provided.

What is the warranty?

2 year/40,000 km.
