Tough Dog 41mm Foam Cell Shock Absorbers

Why buy this product?

It's large bore design is suitable for heavy duty applications. The use of micro-cellular foam inserts are more resistant to fade in harsh conditions.

What are the features?

1 ) Large 41mm internal bore. Most shocks are only 35mm.

2) Twin tube design.

3) High temperature fluid

4) 18mm double chrome-plated rod

5) Additional welding on all studs & eyes.

6) 10 stage velocity sensitive valving.

7) Rod wiper seal and multi lip seal.

8) Hydraulic rebound stop.

Do I need anything else to install them?

We high recommend using the shock mount strengthening kit. The top shock towers are very weak in this model and the kit reduces the risk of the top mounts failing. Shocks and strengthening kits are a bolt on application.

What lift will they provide?

Shocks absorbers do not lift a vehicle, only improve ride comfort.

What models do they suit?

Ford Courier 4WD models from 5/1987 onwards. Shocks are suitable for standard height suspension through to 40mm over standard.

How much are they?
