Navara D40 Stage 1 Comfort Rider Suspension Kit

What's included in this kit?

At the front, billet aluminum strut spacers bolt between the struts carriage and the vehicles frame. Easy to install and no need to disassemble the spring from the strut. Plus, (unlike taller coils) billet spacers do not interfere with the downward action of the front wheels. At the rear, heavy-duty box-tube extended-length greaseable shackles provide the lift height (without increasing the spring stiffness) to ensure a great ride and off-road flex. Long-travel Rancho RS9000XL shocks allow for maximum wheel travel, plus the ultimate in ride-quality and handling whatever the load or terrain may be, or the high quality non adjustable Rancho RS5000 shocks.

How hard is this kit to install?

Any licensed mechanic can install this product. Full installation instructions for the strut spacers are included and you do not need a strut compressor to install them. We recommend having a wheel alignment completed afterwards.

What lift will it provide?

Will lift the vehicle approximately 50mm (2inches) over standard height.

I already have a lift kit installed, can I install this as well?

We only recommend installing this kit with factory suspension.

Are there any other modifications that need to be done with this kit?

Because the strut spacers allow for extra downward wheel travel at the front, some models may experience contact from the upper control arm to the strut tower when the front wheels drop down. This may make a "clunking" noise. If you experience this you could install some rubber insualation to the top of the strut tower or some customers have made their own bump stops on the upper arms.
